Associate Photographer


An Associate Photographer represents the brand while photographing clients on behalf of the primary photographer or studio. This role requires consistency in shooting style, professionalism, and the ability to deliver high-quality images that align with the brand’s aesthetic and standards.


The Associate Photographer is responsible for capturing events or sessions independently, following provided timelines, shot lists, and creative direction. They must communicate clearly with clients, create a comfortable experience, and adapt to varying lighting and environments while maintaining composure and professionalism.


All images are delivered to the primary photographer/studio for editing and final production. The Associate Photographer does not market sessions as their own and agrees to uphold brand confidentiality and client trust.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Capture events or sessions with consistency and attention to detail
  • Follow brand guidelines, timelines, and shot expectations
  • Maintain a professional and friendly client experience
  • Properly back up and deliver RAW images promptly
  • Care for and operate professional photography equipment (Canon RF equipment)


Qualifications:


  • Strong technical photography skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and under time constraints
  • Experience with weddings, portraits, or events (as applicable)
